As part of our mission to promote sustainability and address the marine plastic waste problem in Kenya, Twende Green Ecocycle is committed to educating and engaging the local community through outreach programs.
We will organize educational programs in local schools to raise awareness about the impact of plastic waste on the environment and the importance of recycling. We will also provide training sessions for teachers and students on waste management practices and sustainable solutions. By involving young people in our efforts, we hope to foster a culture of sustainability and inspire the next generation of environmental leaders.
In addition to school programs, we will also organize community outreach events to engage with residents of informal settlements and other local communities. These events will include public talks, workshops, and exhibitions to showcase our products and services, educate the public on the importance of recycling and sustainability, and encourage participation in our plastic waste collection efforts.
Through our education and outreach programs, we aim to promote a more sustainable future for Kenya and contribute to the development of environmentally conscious citizens.
